A commitment to transparency

Swiss4net has achieved a 5-star rating in this year's GRESB sustainability benchmark, the leading rating system for measuring the sustainability performance of property/infrastructure companies and funds. We are the first Swiss provider in the international Fibre Networks category to have achieved this result. Thanks to an above-average performance in the analysed areas – environmental, social and governance aspects – and the resulting overall rating of 85 points, we also secured first place among all the participating providers in the sector.

The 5-star rating emphasises our commitment to sustainability and transparency. This is very important to our investors, such as Arcus Infrastructure, Swiss Life and a Swiss pension fund as well as our partner municipalities and electricity companies. We aim to continue building on this in the future.

The ESG benchmark

The 2020 ESG benchmark analysed 5.3 trillion US dollars’ worth of AuM (Assets under Management). The analysis enables providers to compare their products with peer groups, thus creating a high degree of transparency for all parties involved. The maximum that can be achieved is a GRESB score of 100 points and 5 GRESB stars for a leading ESG performance. The GRESB data collected is used by hundreds of investors and thousands of asset managers to compare investments across portfolios for sustainability.
